The cost of your volunteer experience is dependant on which option you choose and what your accommodation, food and transport needs are. Every project has a minimum fee of R150/day that acts as a donation towards the sustainability of that project and VSA generally charge a nominal admin fee to cover basic running costs.

If you choose to join the 30 Day Journey - Durban to Cape Town
The cost is approximately R800/day (visit www.xe.com for conversion)

This includes:  
 

• Shared accommodation
• Meals
• Transport and fuel, 1700km from Durban to Cape Town
24 hour Guide and driver
• Game drives in the Addo Elephant Park
An outing with the SchoolTrade children
• Project donation of R300 per day while on the project
• Orientation, bookings and support from the VSA team

If you choose to Volunteer Direct

The costs are project specific and may vary according to your food, accommodation and transport needs. We understand that you will be working with a budget and are available to assist you in cutting costs where possible. VSA’s role will be to assist in effective project placement according to your skills and expectations, handle booking and travel planning arrangements, airport collection and drop off when requested, offer an orientation and 24hr contact facility while you are working on the projects.

Payments and Deposits:
On completion of the booking form and your acceptance of the quote, VSA we will send you an invoice.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your placement.
The full payment is due 30 days prior to your project start date.
For bookings made in less than 30 days, full payment is due.
NOTE: all payments must be made in ZAR (South African Rands).

Payment options:
Direct transfer: Our South African Bank details will be emailed to you on request. Please fax us the proof of payment to +27 86 5476668, on receipt of your payment we will email you a confirmation form.
 
Credit Card: VSA makes use of a secure on line payment gateway called Virtual Credit Card services details are supplied with your invoice.
